A story of "RSS" that users of "Seesaa blog" tend to overlook

I uploaded the other day "【Podcast】 Try to start with Seesaa Blog for the time being!", I explained up to creating an account on Seesaa blog and set up podcasts, but the Seesaa blog has another item "RSS setting" In fact, since there seem to be many podcasters who have passed through this item, I will explain about it this time.

"RSS" is a very important thing that can be said to be a podcast delivery kimo, also called "feed". Sometimes it is called "RSS" or the word "feed" is used, which is somewhat confusing, but please think that it is the same thing. Actually, there are several kinds of "RSS", but since it is "RSS 2.0" used in podcast delivery, it may be better to remember that point only. And ↓ is an example of Seesaa 's spit "RSS 2.0".

Although it may seem only as a spell of meaning unknown, it is possible to say to the application such as iTunes who came to read podcast information "Instructions" to tell that "this sound is uploaded to this site" It is something like this, and without this it is important that podcast delivery is not established ....

Well, the introduction has become long, but I will explain the "RSS setting that the user of the Seesaa blog tends to pass" written at the beginning. Last time I wrote about the "Podcasts for the time being tentatively for the time being!", I wrote about the "Podcast" column on the setting page, but actually there is an item called "RSS setting" on the same setting page, and I will pass through here And it will be a bit misleading.

Clicking "RSS Setting" opens the "RSS feed setting" column. The item you want to pay attention to here is the item "number of articles posted on feed", and in the default setting, "15" is checked.

What is meant by this column "Number of articles posted on feeds" means that you can set "How many pieces of article information can be placed" in instructions like spells just like that. If you are delivering with the default setting of "15", only the latest 15 voices will be downloaded to the listeners who subscribed to your program. Since 15 instructions are written in the instruction sheet, it will be so obvious. If "15 is enough", you will not mind maintaining the default settings, but when you think that the listener wants to "go back to the older voice" retrospectively, you access the distribution page and send one audio file You will have to download it one by one. In the Seesaa blog, the number of articles described in RSS can be increased to "maximum 100".
